Sorry we had some technical difficulties getting this on here! So 2007 was a busy year. We were very blessed this year. To start off in January, we had to accept the fact that we were not going to sell our house any time soon. With 2 bedrooms and 4 people in the house, we started our mini makeover to make our house more livable. We started by taking our back den and turned it into Skyler's new room. She loved it and showed everyone that came over her new room.

Feb we enjoyed lots of playtime outside. And picking the last of our oranges and making juice is always fun.

March we had a great family weekend for Mark’s birthday, as Ryun’s Aunt Peg and Uncle Bud came down for the day. We had a traditional Irish feast complete with corned beef, smoked brisket and cabbage. I also made an Irish crème pie for dessert. It was great to have everyone here, all 9 adults, 2 kids, and 6 dogs!

April was a great month, we got busy with Skyler playing soccer at the YMCA, clearing out our backyard for some projects and at the end of the month my sister Cindy and her husband Lance moved down from North Carolina. We are excited to have them here, and our kids love “Ci-Ci and Lance.”

May provided a great opportunity for Ryun to do what he loves and do it for people we love, we catered a rehearsal dinner for a dear friend and Ryun grilled about 20 racks of ribs along with doing some sides. We had a great weekend away without the kids and visiting Savannah. We get such wanderlust going there, its one of the most charming cities we have been to. We turned around and went up to Tallahassee 2 weeks later to visit Neal and Lily for Memorial Day weekend.
June was home improvement month as we, built a deck and a small patio in the back yard. We had lots of help from family and the sod was next on our list.

In July we reached 2 milestones, Bryce turned 2 and we had a great day. Also Skyler started taking swim lessons from a friend of mine and she went from swimming with water wings to going underwater on her own in 2 lessons! Ariel quickly became her favorite princess and she swam ALL summer.

August was the month I had been waiting for a long time! I got to go see my dear cousin Melinda and her family in Kentucky, AND we shopped the 127 yard sale! I was in heaven. We had a great time and made plans for next year. We then topped off the trip with a visit to see my Aunt Barbara and drove the entire way home in 1 stretch. We will NEVER do that again.
When we got home Skyler started Preschool! She loved it right away and of course is the tallest kid in her class. She had 2 other girls in her class of 10 and they are great friends.

September was busy as well with Ryun’s birthday, laying down sod in the back yard, and Fall soccer for Skyler.
October was fun, we surprised Skyler for her 5th birthday to a trip to Disney World. It was a long but fun day. Read more about it from the previous blog.

November was finally full of cool weather and I got to attend Women of Faith. Also we visited Neal and Lily for Thanksgiving. It was a great weekend with lots of great food and shopping. We also learned of a family death while away, Cindy and Lance’s senior aged dog had passed away the morning of Thanksgiving.

And December has been filled already with fun events, and getting ready for Christmas has been exciting, because Bryce is really excited this year. We look forward to opportunities to share the real meaning of Christmas with our kids, and giving them their 3 gifts, just like baby Jesus got. We hope everyone has a blessed Christmas, and we would love to hear from you! My email is Debbie@forsmanfamily.com and Ryun’s is sixftsix@gmail.com. Have a wonderful season!
